Copywriting is a lot like making a Cuppa...
You can tell when someone hasn't put effort in.
The average Joe might plop a Tesco value teabag into their 2005 "World's Best Dad" mug, splash in some milk and forget about the sugar. But then someone else could come along with special tetrahedron-shaped teabags, semi-skimmed unicorn milk, and a 12-minute long brewing method that will completely change your life.

I'm Macauley, and I know a lot about tea (oh, and copywriting).
The point is, your copy exists for someone else, so stop being selfish.
It's time to be a good host.
Served right, your copy is a fast track to more views, clicks, and sales.
But getting there means understanding that every line of text plays an important (and often individual) role, meaning that every spoonful of copy should be brewed with audience and intention in mind.
Once you're serving to the right people, it's all about giving them what they want. Do that, and they'll keep coming back.
And that's delicious!
